This Baffles Me…

This isn’t a new thing happening during COVID, but it’s definitely something I find more and more surprising... and it totally baffles me.

Here’s the situation:

Someone reaches out to me for help getting back in shape so they can show up better for their family.

We talk.

They share many pains of whats going on and how it’s impacting their lives.

After they're done sharing and I feel I can help’em...

... I present the solution and how to move forward.

They decide they need to “think about it” and see if they’re ready to invest and do the work (which is cool, I get it).

Then, they come back and say they’re gonna wait until things “calm down a bit."

Wait...

WHAT!?

Here are some undeniable truths dude... 

  1. Life was and always will be a HUGE sh*t sandwich - pandemic or not (and we’re all gonna have to take a bite... maybe even two).
  2. Health is at the forefront of everyone’s mind RIGHT NOW, and... it’s more obvious than ever we need to be doing something about it.
  3. The “busyness” in your life is an excuse for not doing the work.

I know... sounds inconsiderate, right?

But - it’s the truth.

You know it.

I know it.

We make time and find the money to tackle what’s important to us.

Here’s another HARD truth.

If someone’s 1200 iPhone (Android sucks) broke TODAY... they’d find a way to have it replaced... IMMEDIATELY.

(Doesn’t matter if they gotta do payments for 2 years)

Why?

Because it’s important to them (and it satisfies our need for immediate gratification).

If you’re still eating like crap... you can choose healthier.

If you’re on a “time budget” - you can knockout results-driven workouts at home in less than 15 minutes a day.

You can walk with your family.

There are many things you CAN do.

Being too busy right now is a lie we tell ourselves.

We’ve always been busy and held onto that reason as a safety net.

It’s a different version of the same story year after year.

So...

... if getting healthy and back in shape has been on your to-do list, but you’re still in the same place as last year... now is the time.

Because you might literally be saving your own life.

Sh*t you may even be called to save someone else’s life.

And if this call does comes down the pipe... would you be ready for it, TODAY?

If the answer is “NO”.

Now is the time.
