How to Stay in “Jiu-Jitsu Shape”
Calling ALL BJJ men, husbands, and dads -- in today's post I'm gonna give you a peak behind the scenes of how to stay in "Jiu-Jitsu shape" even when you can't make it to the mat 3-4 (who am I kidding, you're addicted and want to train EVERY DAY) days a week.
For the past 4 years, I've been deep in my training lab, seeking, designing, testing, and re-designing (LOL) a system to revolutionize how YOU stay in shape for BJJ.
Even if you can't make it to the mat as often as you'd like and still make progress!
But before I do--
Let me ask you...
What's every mans greatest fear when it comes to "missing time on the mat"?
I know mine
"... Man, it's gonna suck when I get back to training, everyone will have progressed and I'm gonna be behind."
Ever said this to yourself?
I think we all have at some point.
But here's the truth, you will not be behind.
Many guys miss from time to time.
And if you ever hear someone say they've been able to train non-stop for "X amount of time or years"
(that's like someone saying, "they never cheat on their diet", pfff)
... they're lying to you, everyone misses!
(I only trained once a week for a year and a half after receiving my brown belt due to injuries and my studies)
And in the case they don't [miss]
... they likely fall into 1 of 3 categories:
- They're under the age of 21, live at home with their parents, and have zero responsibilities.
- They run a BJJ school, training Jiu-Jitsu is how they earn a living, and are likely active competitors (which comes with injuries and leads to time off the mat).
- They're full of s**t and are only stoking their ego.
The same goes for strength training and making it to the gym.
Everyone misses.
And you know what?
It's ok!
Just don't become too disconnected 🙂
With all that said.
I'm happy to announce I've found a solution to your problem!
It's still in it's infant stage.
In fact...
if you're a member and reader of the BJJ Strength Secrets, you're already learning the system now and haven't realized it 😉
Here's how YOU can stay in "Jiu-Jitsu shape" even if you can't make it to the mat...
