Why Have I Been Successful?
As I've looked back on my lifting career (which is short compared to my mentors) to see if I could pinpoint why I've been so successful in becoming "unbreakable", getting stupid-strong pretty dang fast, and regenerating so quickly after liver donation surgery...
... one common theme was
becoming obsessed with the process, taking my time, and flat out -- loving what I was doing.
I know I've said I procrastinate more than people know -- and at times I really don't like training.
It's true.
However, it's how I escape reality -- I like to think of it as "iron therapy".
It's the best therapy there is and for the most part, IT'S F-R-E-E!
What I'm about to share will sound weird and it even sounds a little confusing when I hear myself say it out loud.
I don't like training and eating right.
But, I love the result of training and eating right -- and how it makes me feel. Which, makes me love training and eating right, LOL.
Does that even make sense?
So whether it's
... lifting kettlebells to become "unbreakable"
... moving in silence and getting lost in a mobility/flexibility practice
... or hitting the mats for a therapeutic Jiu-Jitsu session with my bros
I love breaking things down, peeling back the layers if you will, and see what is happening and why it's happening.
I found and old jerk breakdown video on my YT channel and uploaded it here.
I break down many of the nuances of the double jerk and what you need to look for -- to get results, FASTER!
I know it will help you on your journey to getting in great shape and mastering this beast of an exercise, the double kettlebell -- the black belt of kettlebell lifts.
This is one of the many "keys" or "secrets" to success in any endeavor -- becoming obsessed with the process and falling in love with what you're doing.
When this happens, you're no longer hyper-focused solely on the end result as a means to an end -- instead, you're dialed in on the process and lovin' it.
Check it out and let me know how it goes.
Talk soon.

P.S. If you found this helpful and are trying to get back in shape but -- not sure how to get there -- don't have a lot of time but know you need to make a change and get back in shape, not only for yourself, but also for your family.
I recommend you check out my latest course on the double kettlebell jerk. I recently added 4 extra bonuses for you to sweeten the deal. You can check out the details here.

P.S. --------- You're worthy of everything you desire in life. Don't waste another moment sitting on the sidelines, watching your kids grow, and not be able to engage with them because you're either spending countless hours in a gym or "you wish you had time to get in great shape" to keep up with them.
