My name is Hector Gutierrez Jr.
I'm the owner of Hardstyle Kettlebell in Corpus Christi, Tx and creator of Strong As Hec Programming. I've built my business on ONE thing... helping people like you get results from their kettlebell and barbell workouts using a proven science-based approach (that's easy to follow) to programming.
I'm excited to see you here! You're on this page because you have interest in improving your barbell deadlift... I'm happy to say you're in the right spot. I've written 100's of different training plans over the past 16 years that have taken both beginner and advanced lifters to double and even triple body weight deadlifts. WITHOUT having to train like a powerlifter.
Of all my deadlift plans, the SAH Deadlift Series 260 has been my most successful set of plans. This series has not only taken 100's of my students to double and triple body weight pulls, but it has also taken my deadlift from 180kg (396) to 282kg (621) without a belt or assistance exercises.
My eyes are on 700 now; in order to get there, I'll have to design an entirely new series. From what I've learned over the last 16 years is, the same plan(s) that gets you to double body weight, will not get you to triple body weight, so on and so forth. That is the primary reason I write my plans in a series.
