How did I get here?!
*I ask myself the morning after my 19th birthday.*
I'm a 210 pound high school drop out with a 40" waist, self esteem and body dysmorphia issues and going nowhere, FAST.
"This sucks!"
"Will my endurance ever improve?!"
"I've been here for several months now, coming multiple times per week -- why does my cardio still suck?!"
"I should have tried to get in shape first before coming here, what the hell am I doing here?"
This is what I asked myself at every Jiu-Jitsu class as I made frequent trips to the restroom between rounds to splash water on my face.
